Ski Area Opening Dates

Despite two prior snow storms totaling over two feet of snow in some locations, the warm weather that has followed has made it impossible to make snow on the slopes. That may soon be changing as the forecast ahead looks favorable for snowmaking in the area, as temperatures continue to dip below the freezing mark.

Here is a rundown of current projected opening dates of some of the ski areas in the Mount Washington Valley area:

Attitash- Projected December 9th opening

Black Mountain- Projected Opening- TBD

Bretton Woods- OPEN- 3 of 102 Alpine trails open. 10-18" snow base

Cranmore Mountain- Opening TBD

King Pine- Projected December 16th Opening

Wildcat- Projected December 9th opening
